Beltain

Beltain also spelled Beltane, the day of the union of the young god and the madain goddess. Also called May Day. Celebrated on both April 30 and May 1. Tradational spring floweres decorate the alter, the colours are pink, yellow, brght green and white. The most recpgpmozeab;e symbol of Beltain is the Maypole, still found in spring celebrations areound the world. A day to celebrate the fertile abundance of the earth. This day is nearly always focused on fertility. A common day for handfastings and other unions. A maypole dance is nearly always nclucdc in the celebration. The morris dance is also included.
