Esbats
What is an Esbat
Esbats are the monthly celebration of the moon. Traditionaly celebrated on the full moon. We celebrate the new or dark moon as well. Esbats are sometimes used as a meeting of the coven to discuss any up comming event.
Full Moon is a time when we come together to celebrate the lady as she is in full light in the night sky. A full moon esbat is a time to work drawing magick, to fellowship, and a time to seek that which is our hearts fondests desire.
The new moon is the time when the moon is no longer visable in the night sky. We come together at this time banish negativity in our lives. The new moon represents new beginnings and is a good time to work positive magick, and begin new projects.
